Elegant Baroque Wedding Inspiration

If 2011 was the year of rustic chic, 2012 is going to be the year of elegance and glam. This stunning shoot from Katelyn James Photography is the epitome of classic, baroque beauty and I am completely head over heels in love with the gorgeous details… the gilded pear place cards, the fabulous centerpieces from Janie Medley Flora Design that incorporate pomegranates and cabbage, the ornate framed table number and delicate, colorful china – it’s all perfection!

The following Richmond wedding vendors contributed to this inspirational wedding shoot:

Photography – Katelyn James Photography \ Floral – Janie Medley Flora Design \ Location – Virginia Center for Architecture \ Dress Store – Tiffany’s Bridal \ Hair and Makeup – Emily Hudspeth* \ Rentals – Mosaic Unique Rentals

  1. Ahhh! I went to Katelyn’s Workshop and I had to pick my jaw up off the floor when I saw everything she had waiting for us to shoot. Katelyn’s not just an amazing photographer- she’s an inCREDible designer. I LOVE this tablescape, especially the idea of using fresh fruit for escort cards. The entire thing was so elegant and well-organized, and I always look forward to seeing her design skills put to use on her blog!

  2. I was at this workshop and it was so amazing!!! The pictures are wonderful that Katelyn took and I learned so much from the workshop! It’s fun to see the pictures again, thanks for the post!
