Real Weddings: Erica + Shaun

Anytime the fabulous team at Historic Cedarwood puts their heads together, a magical wedding is created. Erica and Shaun’s wedding was an elegant and refined event with a French-chateau-meets-Southern-countryside vibe. Big puffy peonies, a soft and romantic color palette of pinks and whites, and Erica’s stunning Lazaro Couture gown in the softest shade of pink…swoon! Cedarwood has the perfect outdoor ceremony backdrop – it’s an outdoor cathedral with actual church pews and cathedral windows – bringing the indoors out for an incredible ceremony space! Pretty florals, details, and design captured beautifully by Photographix!

  1. I absolutely adore this! Any idea where you can get the table name clip/holders? They are too pretty — I’ve seen similar ones in various other featured weddings, but haven’t had any luck finding them :(

  2. Oh my goodness that dress is breath taking! The beaded band is just perfect. I am in love with the peonies, they are always such a perfect way to add texture in arrangements. They are so full and perfectly rounded that anyone can work with them. You can DIY these arrangements ladies!

  3. Thanks Kristine for complimenting the ceremony arches. We didn’t however make them, we salvaged these ten foot gothic windows from a Nashville church that was demolished. The church happened to be designed by the same architect that designed Nashville’s famous Ryman Auditorium, so there’s a nice history connection. We also purchased vintage church pews to set in our open farm meadow, creating Cedarwood’s signature “Outdoor Cathedral”
