Real Weddings: Jenn + Cody

Morning everyone!  I’m just now getting started on my day after a morning of watching the Royal Wedding!  Did you see it?  What is your verdict on the gown?

Speaking of weddings, I have a lovely one for you today!  Jenn and Cody’s wedding is romantic and dreamy, full of handmade elements.  Details such as handkerchief favors, a “Love Letter” guest book, and a cookie table with cookies made by the bride and groom’s mothers (complete with a favor book of family cookie recipes) made their event special and personal.  The fall wedding featured a color palette of pink and silvery gray with cream burlap to tie it all together and the result is stunning!  Making it even more gorgeous, Vania and Christine of Simply Bloom Photography captured the day with their usual flair.  And, there’s a puppy.  Which naturally means I am in love with this one all the way around. :)

  1. Stunning dress and photography, at first i thought this was a photoshoot! Loving the love letter ideas, those pencils are a great idea. I love all the cute touches such as the just married and groom bunting and the messages in a bottle are soooo cute. This wedding is going straight into my favourites!

    1. Hi Rhonda –

I made the pencils at a regular personalization site online. Instead of personalizing them with my initials or name, I used various sayings like “Ball and Chain”, “Love Story”, “Love is Sweet”. I had checked Etsy back then, but nothing existed. I haven’t looked in a while, but I bet someone is making them (shoulda jumped on that!)

  3. Can you explain the love letter activity? I love it!! Also, were the handkerchief favors ordered by a special company?
